Lucy and Tom first met when they were in high school in China. They arranged to sit next to each other in class and became very good friends as time passed by. They encouraged and supported each other in their studies at their boarding school. After graduation, they chose different paths in their lives to seek their own dreams. Lucy came to Australia for overseas study and Tom stayed in China for further study in a university in China. However, the distance did not affect their relation instead their love seeds sprouted in the hearts of two young people. In 2006, they started their loving relationship. After Lucy graduated successfully from the university, she found a job related to her major in Australia and got her permanent resident visa. Tom graduated with his bachelor degree in China as well. They were planning to get married the following year. Their parents and relatives were all happy for their engagement.
