Ms Liu was over 60 years old. She had two daughters both living permanently in Australia. They both got married and had their own small family and children. Ms Liu who lived alone in China always missed her daughters and grandsons. Through referrals, Ms Liu and her daughters found AUSA Migration and hoped our migration agent could help her to apply for permanent residence and reunite with her daughters as soon as possible.
Our agent helped Ms Liu prepare her documents and lodged a contributory parent visa (subclass 143) application for her. During the processing period, in order to let Ms Liu reunite with her family as soon as possible, we applied for a tourist visa (subclass 676) twice, which allowed Ms Liu multiple entries to Australia within one year. Therefore, even while waiting for her parent visa application to be processed, Ms Liu was already in Australia and lived with her two daughters and their families.
The best interests of our clients will always come first. During the waiting and processing period, our dedicated agent kept in close contact and communication with the client. At the last stage of visa processing, the immigration department requested evidence of financial support for Ms Liu. Through the communication with Ms Liu, we found that her daughters and sons in law could not provide the required assurance of support in the required time. Our professional agent sought an extension for MS Liu and guided her to find another qualified assurer in time and helped to get her parent visa approved.
