Who decides the occupation to be flagged or not?

To carry out this process, the Department consults with industry, employers, unions and individuals.

Based on the survey conducted, the Department decide if the occupation needs to be flagged or not。

The Department on Thursday outlined the proposed changes to the skilled occupations lists by releasing, what it calls, a traffic light bulletin and invited submissions by 20 June 2018.
